Went to Korean Trade Fair last Mon at The Expo. Saw this super stylo mylo Samsung HP.. I like this one!!! So small, at first glance, we thought it was another MP3 player! It's just costs 270++, but, without camera. The one with camera costs 300++..

Supposed to use my next month pay cheque to buy an Acer laptop, which costs $1800++, but then my parents urged me not to get first le.. since my laptop is still in good condition. Just buy a battery which costs 300++.. hm, how le?? I'm in dilemma le...

If I'm not getting a laptop, then I'm so tempted to get a bag for myself and maybe a few months later, another for my mum. I love tote bag... been eyeing on these both bags.. but dunno how much.. haha... maybe next month I go see see...

Xmas present for myself?? haha... wat a good excuse to spend!

Next week will be another packed and stressful week..Gotta move to new office at Ubi Techpark, no more CBD liao... sob sob

I was assigned to go for a mission - to attend IWC WatchMaking Session at the Sentosa Cove organised by Sincere Watch Academy.

I felt so out of place when I reached there... as you know, one piece of Sincere timepiece can cost a few months of my salary. And I was just wearing the most expensive watch I've ever had - Guess diamond watch - which is NOTHING compared to them. And I was alone there!!

There was this uncle waiter - so cute (ahem, I'm not saying physically cute hor).. why? He offered me a selection of drinks and finger food, which I declined politely. Second time he offered, and I declined again. Until the third time, he offered again with his so sincere expression, die die also must make me say yes. As if he'd be fired if any of us was not eating or drinking. I was sitting down on the cushion, and he was kneeling down on 1 knee! Finally, I asked for iced water. And since then, he kept feeding me with food!

Time for watchmaking! We were directed into the lab and wore the white lab coat! Really hands-on experience on how to dismantle and assemble the small and tiny parts in the watch!! So, we experienced how was it like to be a watch maker!

Start exploring the movement!
These are the tools needed
Ta-da - that's how it looks like in the watch. Gotta be so delicate and gentle when handling the movement
It was fun!! A watch maker needs to go for studies and training for 4 years before cetified.

After the session, I took the chance to explore the surrounding while locating for the taxi stand.

So-Beautiful view...

It's a pond le.. so niceSo heavenly-blissful to have a condo/apartment here, rite? Facing the sea and your yatch just parked right in front of your apartment?
Alright, stop dreaming..!! (unless you're are super ultra rich! or u married to a Mr.Super Ultra Richie)

Hello everyone, I'm back! The last time I blogged was in October.. oh man, it's Nov now! Isn't it amazing? just a twinkle of eye.. ta-da we're in the month of Nov!! and.. Christmas is coming!

Just now, while having the casual chat with my mum, we realised that my grandma was away almost a year. And last year in Nov, we attended my childhood friend cum neighbour's wedding, and now it's been 1 year of her marriage! Everything passes so fast....one day after another.. and that shows I'm getting older and older at the increasing speed! *scare scare*

A few important pointers which I came across recently.

"Every master was once a disaster"

This was quoted by the hot yoga instructor. It's alright to do badly in the begining, so long you have the determination and perservance, never give up, and continue trying, soon you'll be the master.

"Our mind is like toilet bowl - full of shit. At the end of the day, you gotta flush to empty the shit, so that you can start afresh the next day"

This quote was from my boss while he was giving training. Sounds funny rite? but I think it's very meaningful and indeed, it's so true!. It's a basic and fundamental principle, and yet, not everyone of us realises it.

How many of us are willing to let go the anguish/ hatred within youself when something terrible cropped up on that particular day?

How many of us are able to forgive and forget someone/ something when he/she did terrible things that upset you?

Not everyone can do that.. but i'm trying to.. but for sure it ain't easy!

Alright, some updates! Kylie has been running!! yes! sounds so unbelievable?? well, no choice.. my company's culture is to stay fighting fit! haha..

Yesterday, my company participated a charity run by Frost & Sullivan at Singapore Island Country Club.
EdWhistler Team

The running team with supporting team - Me and Adelene.. haha

After 6km run, our team came in 10th team out of 38 teams!! Not bad right.. and my boss is the marathon runner... he was the 12th person who came up the finishing line!

Next week will be our turn to hold a charity run - EdWhister Charity Run 2007 !! We're helping Children Care Foundation to raise fund. Interested??

Where? Bishan Park 1
When? 17 Nov, 7.30 am

It's just 5km run, bring your family and friends, if you can't run, walk! and for sure I'll walk with you!

May our joint effort help the brave children to fight and battle against cancer!
