Last paper - so disappointed


Had my last paper on Friday - Retail Management. For the first time I made such a deadly mistake! I had mistaken the paper to be 2 1/2 hour paper. But the fact it was 2 hour paper!!


Yup, I was rushing through the last question - 45 marks in 15 min. Was super panicked when the chief invigilator reminded us to have 15 more minutes. At first I thought I still have plenty time remaining to answer those 3 issues based on the case. My hands were trembling and I was neared to tears. Though I managed to speed through answering the questions but the answers were not fully substantiate. Sigh...


Though it was just a GE paper.. but still I felt so disappointed.


No point whinning now.. after the last paper, Jean, Xinru and I went to satisfy our hunger pangs..

With a bloated tummy, we went to shop! Jean and Xinru helped me to hunt for a nice dress for my friend cum relative's wedding dinner. After umpteen times of trying, finally I have found one! phew.. finally the mission is accomplished. Shopping can be real tiring...

After which, rush home to clean the house, pack my bag before setting off to go back Ipoh. And of course I had to accomplish another difficult task which my mum had given me. I had to cook dinner for my dad and brother !

Though my mum had prepared everything for me, all I had to do was just to heat up the wok, throw everything in and stir. But I still find cooking a challenge task. (Knowing that I seldom cook!)

My dad laughed at me when he saw the final dish on the table. "Are you sure this is omelette with long bean?" He asked me to take a pic and showed it to my mum!

Ta-da - my creative omelette. Still edible.. my brother said though it looks weird, but still taste not bad, okie !

Haha.. I wonder how am I going to survive as someone's wife in future! Maybe I just get a husband who can cook ! hehe..

These promises are easily said.. but hardly fulfilled.. easily broken but hardly could amend...


Happened to encounter 2 cases of "my-bf-had-an-affair" and both victims are my good frens. Another case of two-timing was illustrated by the "criminal" himself. I wonder how many guys there are faithful?


When all these happened, reasons and excuses, valid or ridiculous, all will be blurted out when asked WHY?

"Stuck in the Middle"

After knowing what a wonderful youtube.com is, I have become a frequent visitor since then. I've been searching for MVs and those nice Korean dramas and now I'm stuck in the middle of another tearjerker Korean drama - Lovers in Paris.

I've watched it before (not a complete one), but I still find it nice and touching. Am I just being overly emotional and sentimental? I'll still be teary everytime I watch it. Argh...

I like both the lead actor and actress. Alright, some of you may find him not handsome, BUT I do find him charming!! *drooling* and that gal is definitely pretty in those tube dresses... *drooling*

There's this part where he sings a song for her. Argh... so romantic, touching and sweet.. he can sing and play piano! I like !!

And I love the song too - "May I love you now?"

You know what, watching korean drams is a good remedy to cure sadness.. coz it can make you cry like shit - but then make sure you watch lonely! haha..

Alright.. I think I'd better start mugging for my Service Marketing paper on Wed ! AJA AJA !!

Curry puff from Old Chang Kee.. What's so special about this curry puff.. besides being known for its famous pipping hot, tasty (and of course sinful)




It is special.. coz it was given by this stranger uncle AGAIN! Yes this is the second time. The first time, another uncle treated me a stick of fishball, also from OCK!


This uncle bought a Hokkaido Dome and I offered to cut into 4 pieces for him ( as I always do to every customer). In return, he asked me: Xiao Mei, you want curry puff? Uncle buy for u?


Of course I said NO.. then 5 minutes later, he came back with that curry puff!


Of course I said DUN WAN .. but to no avail. He still insisted that I should take it.. "It's nice, you know" he said.


Why ar??? Why uncles like to treat me food ar? I look very "ke lian" izzit? I dun mind if a handsome YOUNG guy offers me.. but y uncles?? I need GUYS NOT UNCLES!! hahaha... sounds so desperate.. just kidding anyway..


Now, go back to mugging.. AZA AZA!!

Yes, by right I should... but then feel so sleepy at this hour, especially when it's raining now... what a nice weather to sleep ya..!!


Didn't go to library.. so trying to mug for my Services Marketing.. I have 1 core + 3 Ges ... but then it seems like I have 4 cores instead!! Will I be able to finish mugging?? I have no idea... I guess I need to pray hard !

He's our lecturer.. he's name is Peter Issac - the funniest lecturer I have ever met..

He's the only lecturer who talks about SEX, BRAs, WOMEN, and BREASTs in the class.. YES! He appreciates openess in his class.. though I have no idea what I've learnt in his class, but I truly enjoyed myself..


He tried to trick us during the last seminar.. by telling us the "new exam format" - 4 hours paper, 80 MCQs, 4 Essay Qns and most outrageously, the exam would be pushed back in Dec!! Uproar in the class of course...


Then he went to the whiteboard and wrote this:

A Mugging Day in Library


Spent almost 9 hours in the library for 3 days.. mugging for our last minute revision..

Panicked.. Stressed.. Sleepy.. and Cold...

So what do we do to de-stress??

Ah-ha... Xinru played around with my hp features.. Took a pic of me trying to "swallow down the whole Sales textbook... till I vomit... hahah

"You better watch out.. you better not cry... you better not pout I'm telling you why.. Santa Claus is coming to town.."

Xinru just can't wait for Christmas to come! She's already dressed up to welcome the season of joy!!

Another sem's over...


Yesterday was officially my last presentation and last tutorial. Time really flies. Seems like the sem just started.. but hey, it's ending soon. My exam will be held next week. Then followed by FYP and then... guess wat? tat'd be my LAST SEM IN NTU !! unbelievable... I aged so fast...

what happened??

As Xinru and I were about to leave, a gal whom sitting at the same table ran to us and stopped us.

Tat gal: Excuse me
Me: Yes?
Tat gal: May I know where did you get tat earrings?
Me: Earring? wat earring? (stupid me to ask tat kinda qn)
Tat gal: ur rainbow earring (pointing at my earrings)
Me: Oh.. I bought it in Thailand.. but I think I saw something familiar at the stall outside the lib
Tat gal: Okie.. thank you

Then me and Xinru went into toilet. When we went into the cubicles..

Xinru: I tot we dropped something just now when the gal approached us
Me: Yeah.. I tot I left something behind.. coz I'm so blur after mugging for so long


When we out of the cubicles...
Me: Funny ar... ask me where I got my earrings.. nice meh? No wonder they have been looking at us when we left la..
Xinru: Nice ar.. apparently they don't think my earrings is nice la.. hahah

Then guess wat... tat gal came out from one of the cubicles !!!

Me and xinru's jaws dropped. I managed to give a weak smile (plus paiseh look)... argghh... so damn paiseh loh!!

So, lesson learnt : Never ever gossip in the toilet.. if you really want, make sure tat person is not in one of the cubicles, okie??!
