Update of my Bangkok trip..


Finally, I have some free time to update my blog.. been very busy for the past 2 weeks.. thank God that I've survived..


Bangkok... is the most recommended place to eat and shop. Indeed it's very affordable... everything there is so so cheap!!

Extremely excited on that day... after a week of hoo-hah caused by the unexpected military coup. Mummy was still paranoid over the safety over there..


Airview of Thailand - wondering what's all those thing... patches of brown colour thingy

When the "budget airplane" taxied at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the excitement doubled. Hey.. I was among the early birds to witness the new airport, okie!! haha.. however, the airport wasn't fully ready - especially at the baggage belt! Waited so so long for my luggage..


Excited and hungry & stucked in the traffic jam - Xinru and I were lamenting when would we reach our budget hotel.. wondering how it looked like..

Was so disappointed when we first saw the hotel. Already told myself to lower my expectation.. but still.. I couldn't help myself but to worry when our taxi stopped in front of our hotel.. what to do? Budget hotel with extremly low rate!


But the hotel and interior wasn't that bad... the breakfast was superb, the room was clean.. and most importantly.. the location was great!! it's just next to the FAMOUS PRATUNAM !!

Our first meal in Thailand - Lunch @ A&W.Been very long since the last time I had A&W. Hmm.. just so-so .. not very nice.. anyway it's just 99baht


After filling our stomach.. we had all the energy .. to start SHOPPING !! Our first stop - Platinum Fashion Mall - just opposite our hotel.

It has 6 storeys with 1,000 units of shops - each floor offering different things, ladies apparel, men's apparel, shoes, bags, accessories, etc. You name it .. they have it!!


Can really shop till you drop... let me warn you... one day is simply not enough.. we went there almost everyday!!


Time to meet Jean and Janice at Isetan - World Trade Center. They were too hungry that.. we stopped at McD to grab a quick dinner!

Went back to hotel to sleep early.. coz we were too tired...

Woke up early morning, took the breakfast and... without wasting any time... we started to explore the famous Pratunam...

Our last shopping day... went to Chatchuchak early in the morning..

Then me and xinru went to MBK for our manicure and pedicure !

This guy popped out of nowhere...but he helped us to seek our way to our next destination. We thought he was the security guard there.. but he wasn't.. WHO WAS HE?? we dunno...

At night.. we went to popular Ang Moh's area & night spots - Kao Sang

Since we had limited budget..we couldnt afford to go for seafood dinner.. in the end we went to Burger King!! ... definitely we had our pork burger!!

Gotta packed and stuffed everything into my bag & luggage.. challenging!

Now, you understand why were we left penniless on the last day?? haha

Reached airport at 4+am.. we just reached airport just in 15min (usual duration was more than 30min).. that taxi uncle drove up tp 160kmph!! scary..

Our snapshot before we alight the plane..and faced the harsh reality of life.. the shopping spree is ended-- it's time to stress over projects and projects and exam!
